PRE-OP GUIDE
Here are some general guidelines that will help you and your family prepare for your visit to the Fremont Surgical Center:

  • Bring your driver’s license and
    insurance card(s) with you.

  • Do not eat or drink anything after midnight prior to your surgery
    (including gum, water, etc.)

  • Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes and slip-on shoes.

  • Do not wear jewelry, or bring money, credit cards or any other valuables with you unless advised to do so.

  • Wearing contact lenses is not advised. If you require your
lenses in order to complete paperwork, please bring them.

  • Arrange for someone to drive you home and spend your recovery night with you, unless otherwise instructed. If transportation is a problem for you, please let us know ahead of time and we will make special arrangements for you.

  • If you become ill, even with a minor cold, or take any new medication prior to surgery, notify your doctor immediately.

  • Contact your physician prior to taking any aspirin products.
